NBC WatchBack
Before Peacock, NBCUniversal launched Watchback, a mobile app and streaming service designed to connect viewers to NBCU’s broadcast and cable shows. I led the campaign through my production agency, handling every stage of the process: pitching creative concepts, writing, directing, producing, and editing the final film.
The spot uses comedy to bring the “endless scroll” problem to life. A couple surfing through channels suddenly finds their living room filled with characters and shows, a visual metaphor for the overwhelming TV landscape. By making the shows literally come alive, we gave the film energy, humor, and a clear solution: Watchback as the answer to “a million channels and nothing’s on.”
